The CAPTAIN ROSSI scented jar was born from the dialogue between the olfactory world of PARFUMS BERRY and the work of art ceramicist Elsa Dinerstein.

Handcrafted in Normandy, each piece has its own nuances, material, rhythm, and balance. Each jar is a unique piece.

It houses the CAPTAIN ROSSI fragrance, a creation by Les Signatures – Premières Écumes, imagined by Maud Chevalier.

CAPTAIN ROSSI evokes departure, the breath of the open sea, ropes, sea tales, and the impulse of adventure. A warm and rich composition where spices, wood, tobacco, and a softer light carried by musks and sandalwood meet.

A wooden cabin in the heart of a tall ship. Rum rises from the hold, Antilles spices float in the confined air. Cardamom and pink peppercorns open the composition with the frankness of a sailor who expects nothing from conventions, lively, assertive, unadorned. Geranium and cinnamon in the heart establish a warmth that is not sweetness: it is the warmth of a body holding the helm in all weathers. Tobacco and sandalwood at the base set the sillage like a wooden hull cutting through the waves, woody, resinous, enveloping, with the persistence of materials that have crossed oceans. CAPTAIN ROSSI does not seek to please everyone. It occupies the space.

Each piece is made from blended clay and porcelain, in shades inspired by the sea: deep blue, saline grey, sea foam white, mineral reflections, light traces of porcelain. The clay provides anchorage, density, presence. The porcelain introduces light, like sea foam or a sail touched by daylight.

The objects house Captain Rossi scented cups, designed to be replaced as needed, and can be poured on demand.
