DIALOGUES: Le Feulement du Léopard, a double dialogue

The DIALOGUES collection brings together works born from the encounter between Berry and other presences. Le Feulement du Léopard features two: a dialogue with a territory, a dialogue with a material.

A commission to embody Normandy

In 2018, the Normandy Region and the Normandy Development Agency entrusted Berry with a rare commission, on the occasion of the Normandy Economic Awards: to compose a perfume that embodies the region. A Normandy that is neither blue nor green, but conquering and audacious. The fragrance was conceived around unifying values: the spirit of conquest, diversity and gender equality, openness to the world, passion. Berry then drew inspiration from the leopards on the Norman coat of arms, these proud-looking lions passant, emblems of a building and traveling land, open to the sea.

The roar

Le Feulement du Léopard opens with a sharp and solar note: Sicilian lemon sparkles, cardamom stings, and the big cat shows its fangs. Then comes the sweetness. Tonka bean and white musks unfold a round and gourmet warmth, soft as fur. Then the fire reasserts itself: saffron and styrax ignite, flamboyant, and signify the animal's sovereign character. Warmth, strength, and light move in unison.

A skin of light

The perfume extends into candles, bowls, and ceramics. With Atelier Elsa Dinerstein, Feulement du Léopard becomes a wild, solar, almost heraldic piece.

Mixed clays and porcelain create a singular skin, combining warmth, strength, and flashes of light.

The perfume renews itself, the object remains.

Today, among the Fragments

Le Feulement du Léopard now joins Berry's FRAGMENTS collection, among the perfumes born from a territory and a presence. The big cat continues its run there, free and conquering.
